A join that ran out of liquidity is charged on what was actually spent; the rest is refunded.
The split
Every join and sale fee is split between the ride's author and the treasury by authorShareBps, 50% at deployment. The open fee goes entirely to the treasury. The author never has to do anything to earn it: their share is credited to their address in the same transaction. authorEarned(rideId) keeps the lifetime total per ride.
Claiming
Fees are owed, not pushed. FOMO wallets are smart accounts that cannot be pushed ETH safely, and a push that failed would revert the trade that earned it. claimable(account) is what an address is owed; claim() pays the caller; claimFor(account) pays anyone what they are owed, permissionlessly, because an author may never come here on their own. The portfolio page shows your own balance and a Claim button.
